This notice explains personal data processing for Maptinger accounts, service use and support. Reading the policy or using the service is not blanket consent to all processing. Separate choices apply where consent is required, and each activity needs an applicable legal basis.
Data categories and sources
Processing may include account and contact details, authentication records, preferences, plan and payment records, security and usage records, and voluntarily submitted support or cancellation feedback. Contacts, lists, connection data and communications you add are also processed to provide the service. Public business data may include personal data; public availability does not grant unlimited usage rights.
Purposes and roles
Data is used to provide the account and selected service, manage payments, offer support, maintain security and meet applicable obligations. You are responsible for the purpose and legal basis of your customer data; this does not remove Maptinger’s own obligations. Controller and processor roles depend on the specific processing activity.
Collection methods and legal basis
Data is collected electronically through account and support forms, service requests, your uploads and enabled connections, and security and transaction records. Account, selected service and support processing relies on entering into or performing the contract; mandatory billing and valid authority requests on applicable legal obligations; and fraud prevention and security on legitimate interests balanced against your fundamental rights. Optional purposes requiring consent use separate consent. Service use is not unlimited consent to marketing or AI processing.
Connections, providers and transfers
Inputs needed for a connection or AI operation you enable may be sent to its provider. Payment, hosting and communication providers may process data within the scope needed for the service. Legal requests are assessed against valid authority. Transfer destinations, recipients and applicable mechanisms must be separately verified; this notice is not a certificate that all international transfers are compliant.
Cookies, preferences and AI
Cookies or local storage support session security and service preferences such as language; they are not advertising consent. Limited internal product measurement does not expose your customer lists to advertising tracking. Preparing an AI draft, saving or enabling an automation, and actually sending are separate actions; selecting a language does not authorize them. Content needed by an AI feature you enable may be sent to its provider; do not add secret keys or unnecessary sensitive information.
Internal measurement and optional feedback
First results, repeat usage and paid subscription coverage are measured separately. New goal-selection metadata and voluntary cancellation reasons/notes are retained for at most 180 days; aggregate cache for at most 24 hours. Reasons and notes are optional; a storage failure does not block cancellation. Only authorized admins can access these notes, and they are not sent to external analytics or AI services. These limits do not change existing financial or operational retention policies.
Retention and security
Retention of other records is assessed according to service needs, applicable legal obligations and dispute or security purposes. Applicable deletion or anonymization follows when retention ends; an erasure request does not automatically delete mandatory financial records. Technical and organizational safeguards are used, but absolute security is not guaranteed.
Rights and choices
Depending on applicable law and its conditions, rights may include access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection, portability and withdrawal of consent. Withdrawal does not change the lawfulness of prior valid processing. Use the contact below for requests; identity and scope are verified securely. Intended audience
Maptinger is not intended for children. Contact us below if you believe a child’s data has been processed by mistake. This is not a claim that the same age threshold or parental consent rule applies in every country.
